Students in physics classes will test their marble roller coaster projects this week, and will display the projects in the library beginning next week.

“This project will cover the work, power and energy units, but it’s really covering speed, velocity and acceleration,” physics teacher Christi Hibbetts said. “We take them to the library for display, but this year I may keep a few of them so that the IPC students that are coming next year can look at them too.”

Many students have seen this as a great opportunity to build unique designs and it also encouraged students to develop better teamwork skills.

“This project definitely forced me to put more trust into other people and this change was for the better,” junior JR Maldonado said.
