For many students in Robotics, building and programming a robot can take both hard work and dedication, but with the right amount of team spirit and motivation, every obstacle will become easy.

“It’s going to be pretty exciting, I led a Robotics Club last school year, and again this school year. About 20 students have already signed up for the club this year,” Charles Garcia, Algebra 2 teacher, said.

Many students have signed up to participate in robotics this year, with many wanting to try a different club for a change or to learn how to build and fully program a functioning robot.

“[I’m looking forward] mainly to building the robot, it’s interesting to see how the robot works and functions,” Mason McManus, a senior, said.

The club’s very first event will be a scrimmage located at Del Mar College on November 11th, 2017.
